Subject:searching for a (possible) VST/Plugin

Greetings, Here`s what I would like to do: Convert an audio track (bass track) to midi, and then route the resulting midi information to a softsynth (synth1). I figured I could render the audio, convert that in an external application, then import the resulting midi file back into Acid. However, this seems like a fairly long-winded method for something which probably could be done within Acid itself and on the fly. Does anybody know if there`s a VST available that will do this in Acid? Also, if possible an arpeggiator VST that will work in Acid. I have a couple (Arpocalypse, a Tobybear plugin), but there seems to be no way to route these in Acid either. Is that a limitation of Acid, or am I doing something wrong here? (Please excuse me, I`m new to using midi devices). Thanks in advance Suhnton |
