Subject:Does SF8 time stretch set length (or percent)?

Greetings,

I am currently using Batch Converter 5.0, which does not do what I want, and I am hoping that SF8 will.

SF6 ExpressFX Time Stretch currently works by percent, but there is a GUI to help you determine the percent based on initial length and desired length. Therefore it doesn't work in batch mode unless you are changing every file by the same percent.

I have a *lot* of spoken word files for a radio broadcast that are supposed to be 0:25:0 minutes long, but are actually all within +/- 30 seconds (or so) of that time. Right now, I have to open each one up individually and set the final time so that it will calculate the percent, and then run Sonic Foundry ExpressFX Time Stretch.

Does anyone know whether SF8 has a time stretch that will let me set the desired length in Batch Converter, so that I can run all my files through it and magically get them all the exact length I need?

Regards,
David
