When I'm using SONAR and wish to do a destructive edit on a clip, I select the clip and invoke SoundForge from the Tools menu. I do the edit. Then:
Click the X box at the upper right corner of the main SF window.
SF asks "Do you want to save changes to Tool Copy..... ?"
I click Yes.
The way it used to work:
SF closes and SONAR asks whether I want to replace the existing clip with the edited version.
Now:
Only the SF sound file window closes. Then I have to click the X box again to actually close SF.

One extra click for no gain.

Greetings,

Does this make subsequent uses faster?

This is a bug that was fixed last week. The expected behavior will return in 8.0a.
