Subject:malfunction - CORRUPT FILE PROBLEM, PLEASE HELP!

I was working on some REALLY importent song with my acid pro 5,
and suddenly the program was shuted because of a malfunction -
NOW THE FILE WON'T OPEN! EVERYTIME I OPEN IT, IT CLOSES DOWN SAYING "AN EXCEPTION HAS ACCOURD". i tried opening some old backup files, but from some reason they act the same and don't work either. EVERY OTHER FILE I OPEND WORKS, BUT THESE FILES. how can i fix this problem?? the file is very importent to me, please help me

have u tired to open the bak file (assuming u have the option to autobackup the files)

else paste the expeption you are getting.. it might be caused by an fx.

how do i change the fx if i cant open the file?
(the bak aren't working and also all the older backup version i saved before, so i don't think it's just a corrupted file, so it might be the fx)

try using this tool

you can enable and disable directx plugins with that.. try also to move dlls the vstplugins folder if you are using vstplugins.

Subject: Timeworks delay freezez Acid 5a

I recently experienced that Acid froze while opening some of my projects. I then took the project with me home and tried to open it on my laptop. It worked but some plug ins couldnt load. It didn´t say which ones, so I compared the two (almost identical) projects with 2 pc´s and I was able to see that the Timeworks Delay 6022 was left out. I then took the project with me to the PC that couldnt open the project and loaded the project which was missing the delay and it opened without problems.

Am I the only one with this experience?
