When I try to extract audio from CD in SF7.0 I get error. Details:

Sony Sound Forge 7.0
Version 7.0b (Build 301)
Exception 0xC0000005 (access violation) READ:0x0 IP:0x77F7F92F
In Module 'ntdll.dll' at Address 0x77F50000 + 0x2F92F
Thread: GUI ID=0xC8C Stack=0x12E000-0x130000

Is this a known problem?

Yeah, I have he same issue... I get the BSOD right after it claims to be "searching for devices"... and it's not my drive... Nero and Windows media can extract just fine from it... funny thing is, it used to work fine.. then I started removng plugins and pther apps in preparation to format, then it stopped working.. In any case, I reformatted, and now on this FRESH copy of XP and FRESH install of SF 8, same thing happpens. aaargh!
Can anyone advise?

Did you use the tech support form to contact Customer Serivce about this?

http://www.custcenter.com/cgi-bin/sonypictures.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php

Sony has been answering questions here regarding the new SF8 release, but these forums are normally user-to-user help.
