Subject:All solo or mute tabs locked together

I know this is more likely something simple but I have not figured it out yet. When I reopen a project and select the solo or mute tab on one of the timelines it mutes or solos all the timelines.
Did that make any sense/

It sounds like all the tracks are selected. Try unselecting them with CTRL+SHIFT+A before muting/soloing.
