Yep - I'm a newbe to AP5a Sooo... does anyone have any ideas where I could learn how to create a Native American traditional-style flute loop? More specifically in a meditation genre (sheepish gaze - not included) |

The Sony Native American loop library is royalty free, I think. It has some good NAF loops on it, but not lots of them. I play NAF myself, and have recorded a few phrases. Tell me what key and a bit about the sound / tempo etc and I might have something that will fit your needs. Also, there is a gigastudio instrument library available as well somewhere. |

You may want to look into getting a flute and learning it. It's not hard to play though some of the stylistic sounds may take a while. It is rewarding, and you can get a good one for as little as $50 or $75. Try oregan flute store. BTW, I have the Spotted Eagle acid CD. It is royality free. RPW, they might still have one if you email them. Q-up arts supplied the samples, and I think their Volume 1 is the same thing. At $59.00 I think it is overpriced. Amazon has it for $44.99. Yes, I forgot to mention that you could buy a flute and learn it. Stellar flutes make very good ones, not expensive. I got my first (Gm) from them. As easy to play (initially) as a recorder, but takes some breath control to get the best out of them. I recommend that you get the Carlos Nakai book at the same time. |
