Hello again everybody. I have been studying this Script deal...very cool IF you are a programmer, which I am NOT! So, until I can spend the time to REALLY figure this out, I would like to put this out there yet AGAIN!!!!.... IF anyone is working on a script to set ACID Loop and Tempo properties via a Script, I will GLADLY pay for a version of the $cript. I have discovered that at the current time SF8 will not save this info (it's a bug), but I can't imagine this will go unaddressed for long (it's one of the Primary functions of SF). So with that stated, there might be time for me to figure out how to do this script deal, but I REALLY gotta be honest with everybody, I am soooo busy just trying to keep up with my regular projects and studio demands, that I doubt that I will EVER get into any programming languages!!! So...can someone help a brother out? Thanks a ton for any thoughts and/or encouragement. Luces |

Try my batch program at http://www.jetdv.com/forge/BatchConvert.zip. It now has a checkbox for "Edit Acid Properties". Unfortunately, the dialog will appear ONCE fore EACH file selected. But you can change any of the options as desired. |

Hey jetdv. Thanks for the link. I am getting an error message when I try to run your .dll script. Is there a specific setting I should be aware of? I am REALLY looking forward to seeing if your script can help me out. Thanks again, luces. btw, I am using the trial version and not the full paid for version. I don't know if this is a problem. Hi, I'm using the trial version as well and the script worked for me. Did you copy the two files across into the script menu folder? Cheers, Chris |

It should work fine. First, make sure the .DLL file is dated as last modified today - 3-21-05 (version 1.0.1906.20007). Second, make sure BOTH files are copied to the Script Menu folder (the second file is a picture that displays on the GUI but will cause the program to error if not present). Hey jetdv. Thanks for the tip. Yes,once I transfered BOTH files it worked. I ran the script, but it did not set the Acid Properties, BUT, I believe this is because there is a known bug about SF8 not saving this data. Once again thanks for the script and hopefully once the bug is resolved it will do the trick! luces. |
