Subject:SF8.0 - VST problem? Posted by: JTelles Date:3/18/2005 5:41:27 AM I installed the trial SF8.0 in a WinXP pro (SP2) and noticed that though the VST plugins I have appear in the FXfavorite list (after the recreate by plug-in name command) ok, when I open a VST effect and check the preset list, the "factory" presets are all there in the drop down menu, but whichever one I select they just do not affect anything, as if "reset" was always the selected preset . I notice this in the Voxengo effects and with the Nomad Factory BT ones (the ones I have in this PC). Anyone noticing the same problem? JTelles

But I know there are some preset issues with VSTs launched from FX Favorites that will be addressed in the first update. They should work in the Plug-In Chainer, though. J.
