Subject:Single track Magnecord tape recorder question.

I have someone out of my area that is interested in me checking out a reel-to-reel recording done on a Magnecord single track tape recorder. It was done about 50 years ago in a professional studio.

I have a 4-track standard stereo set-up for 1/4" tapes.

I presume if their tape is 1/4" then I should be good to go?

Otherwise, I do have an older mono 2-track for 1/4.
