I pulled out my old copy of Soft Encode 1.0, does this not work under windows XP? Any AC3 file I try to playback is garbage. Was there even an update? I know there are new products that support what this applicaton can do.. but lots of us paid money for it, just wondering if it can work properly under XP. |

I'm used sometimes SoftEncode under XP SP1 and it work. May be a problem in entire AC3 file? Try it with ac3fix utility (can find on doom9.net). Or split it to 6 waves in BeSweet... |

It likes to just crash for no reason under XP (actually it just closes). When I open an AC-3 file in frame-view, it shows a 6 channel file as one channel.. and all garbage, and says it's PCM.. |

re-install the program I would suggest .. works ok for me (when I had it installed on XP) but no longer use it for some time ... |
