what is the best way to go about re-mixing an acapella track (or any other full length track) using Acid Pro 5. ?? I'v tried recording an acapella track but it doesn't retain the same bpm, but if only record a small loop sample, i'm able to loop it with other loops. How can i mix the "whole" acapella without having to "cut" it into small portions/loops to make it synchronize with the acid loops. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated. thanks!!

you either have to learn and use the beatmapper, or cut your acapella into manageable 'chunks' as you have already found out it si far easier to make loops out of smaller segments

how would u use the beatmapper to synchronize an entire track?? I can get the beats matched up in the beatmapper wizard, i'm not sure if to use "one-shot" , "loop" or (i forget what the other choice is). but then how do you get the entire track to sychronize within the Acid 5 program??

Try recording with the "make new track follow project tempo" option unchecked. This will turn your recorded take into a One-shot track, which is the only track type ACID does not time stretch in any way.

Remember that if you change the project tempo, the One-shot track will remain as it was. You can take chunks of your One-shot track and render to a new track later on, which will automatically ACIDize the newly rendered track as a Loop if between half a second to 30 seconds by default. Ask if you'd like more info on this.
