Now, I've got another problem, which I created myself. I made the mistake of previewing some discs directly from the CD-ROM drive, before copying the files onto my hard drive. Now I have duplicate listings for many loops, but the references to the disc drive, of course, don't work (since the disc is no longer in the drive). Is there any way to remove these dead references all at once, or must I delete each one individually? Message last edited on3/14/2005 4:35:54 AM byJay Gladwell. |

> Is there any way to remove these dead references all at once, or must I delete each one individually? You can create a query using the Search Criteria PATH where the path starts with your CD drive (i.e., E:\) . Then select the first loop, use Ctrl+A to select all, and just delete them. ~jr Message last edited on3/14/2005 5:05:01 AM byJohnnyRoy. |

In the future, you can prevent the Media Manager from adding to your library by going to Options > Preferences and under the General tab, uncheck the "save media-usage relationships in active media library" option. (This option can toggle without having to restart ACID.) You could also create a library expressly for the purposes of previewing media you're taking a look at; just open the library before previewing such media. John, thank you. That was a breeze! Iacobus, thank you for the information. That should help in the future. |
