Being used to Vegas I wonder: 1.Why I can't Insert a New Track and 2. Copy/Paste from Vegas a very short audio sequence into Acid 5.0 //Gerrie |

Easy, Vegas Tracks are different than Acid tracks. A Vegas track can be composed of many edits, and crossfades, as well as composed of various audio reference files. An Acid track is 1 audio reference file per track, and doesn't have the Vegas editing capabilities. So what you need to do since the track properties are different is that you need to solo the Vegas track and render it to a new file, so now you have a new track which doesn't have any edits, and is composed of 1 audio reference file, then import that file into Acid. >>How does one just Insert a New Track? You can't. ACID has a file to track model. No file, no track. Peter |
