Perhaps your sound card does not support full duplex mode (i.e., it can’t record and playback at the same time) What kind of soundcard is it?

I have the same problem!

My soundcard is Digidesign 002. It's full duplex. All software work nice except ACID 5.0

Not sure what's going on there. Does the Digidesign 002 do hardware monitoring? Or does it rely on software? (ACID does not do the latter. You're better off letting your hardware do it anyway.)
