Hey, i was tryin to make a remix of a song, by tryin to extract the voice from one song and add it to another song's beat.

so i really want to seperate a song's voice and beat. (example 50 cent -disco inferno on the beat of snoop dogg ft pharrel - lets get blown)

Is there a way to do this on ACID? please get back to me asap

No, there is no way to extract a vocal from one song nor remove a vocal from another. You need to purchase the A Capalla version of one song (for just the voice) and the Karaoke version of the other (for just the music).

ACID does not have any tools to do this. You can try to EQ out the highs and lows for the vocal song and hope that the music from the second songs masks out what’s left but its difficult to achieve depending on the mix.

It’s kinda like trying to extract the eggs from cake. The vocals are baked in with the other instruments all sharing the same frequencies. Like the eggs in the cake, it’s really hard to separate them once they’re mixed.

Do a Google search for acapella CD and you might get lucky and find the vocal track you are looking for.
