Has anybody had trouble getting it to work at all? I installed it, no problem (except the Media Manager thing, got some kind of error message about an SQ server deal or something- but I understand the Media Manager isnt really necessary). But when I tried to open AP5, I got a few different messages. First it said it couldnt find a .dat file. Then a UVI engine problem, some sort of Error ID:2. And then Acid announced that there was an error and it needed to close.I've tried lots of different things. Tech support had me turn back on all my Administrative Services- no improvement.I installed SP2- no help.I'm running XP Home with a 2.8 g P4, with a gig of ram, and 2 7200 rpm drives. And a Tascam FW1884. I've been a registered user of Acid Pro 3 for years- no problems with it. I've been using my system with Sonar with no problems for some time as well. I figure if I cant get the demo to work, I'd better not purchase the program. Anybody have any suggestions about how I might be able to get it to work? |

Well yes, for one be MUCH more precise. "Some kind of error", "or something", "a few different messages" along with all your other vagueness such as "lots of different things" is a deal breaker. MJ |

Did you try completely uninstalling ACID and then reinstalling it? That seems like a lot of error messages to have. Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid Buy Instant ACID by JohnnyRoy and mD! mD at ACIDplanet |
