Subject:amplitude files

i've just taken a look trough my soundforge dir and found a folder named "Amplitudes"
it contain *.sfi files
what they good for? are they presets for somethin?

okay, and...what are they good for, how can i use them? are they used like plug ins or in conection with plug ins?
i've searched the manual but i wasn't able to find something

Yes, there are connected with the Acoustic Mirror plug in. The impulses are basically samples of different acoustical environments such as rooms, halls, plate reverbs, ect.
Open Acoustic Mirror, select browse, and play around. AM can sound real good.
