question about lost eq settings -ACID Product Family

Subject:question about lost eq settings Posted by: Alexunder Date:2/23/2005 5:38:05 PM hello guys, i had a great freak yesterday when i realised that in ALL of my tracks where i used the sony track eq, the settings were reseted to the default! all the eq settings i ve made for the last months have gone! do u know if i can do something to restore them... i am lost if i dont get the settings back... i have also backups from the hole Sony Acid folders, but can they help. do u know what i can do?
Subject:RE: question about lost eq settings Reply by: ATP Date:2/24/2005 3:15:58 AM believe me, i feel your pain. i had the same problem happen to me several times now. all my Sony Track EQ settings ... flat! all gone! i had this happen for over 50 projects, imagine that i would have had to redo all the mixes for them .... but i solved this problem! i am still using ACID 4, and this is where i lost my EQ settings. i noticed that after i installed ACID 5 (in a new directory, so that it doesn't overwrite ACID 4) i suddenly got all my custom EQ settings back in ACID 4! so my advice to you is first try to reinstall ACID 4, and if that doesn't work, install ACID 5 next to ACID 4. that should fix it. now, if you don't use ACID 4 but ACID 5 only i hope a reinstall will fix your problems. if not, i have no clue how to get the EQ settings back.
