Subject:Plug In's not Registering

I have an install of Acid 4.0 Pro and no plugs are showing up accept one and it shows as unregistered. It seems that Acid is not registering any plug in's. How can this be corrected?

I would recommend re-installing it since this should not be happening. It sounds like something went wrong during the install.

I installed the ACID 5 demo and wouldn't recognize any plug-ins, period. I unistalled and re-installed it but then it only recognized Sony plug-ins, no others. It also hosed plug-in recognition in ACID 4, VEGAS 4 and Sound Forge 6. These programs saw all of my plugins before this install , so there ya go...

In another thread, Sony suggest that you run the Windows: Start > All Programs > Sony > Utilities > Migrations Tools to fix plug-in problems. There have been no lack of problems with the name change from Sonic Foundry to Sony. There are five (5) tools and a readme html file in that menu. It’s worth a try.
