IF POSSIBLE CAN SOMEBODY GIVE ME THE EXACT SETTINGS OF DROPPING THE BASS OUT OF TRACK, SO THAT IT DOESN'T START REDLINGING OR CLIPPING AS YOU GUYS CALL IT...I NEED A GOOD EQ PLUG-IN, CAUSE I TRIED THE PARAGRAPHIC EQ AND THAT SUX, THE EXPRESS EQ SUX...I NEED, IF POSSIBLE, SOMEBODY GIVE THE EXACT SETTINGS OF DROPPING THE BASS OUT OF TRACK, SO THAT ONLY THE VOCALS CAN BE HEARD MORE, I KNOW YOU CANT COMPLETELY SILENCE THE INSTRUMENTS, IN OTHER WORDS I WAN'T THE VOCALS LOUDER THAN THE INSTRUMENTS, IT EASIER TO REMIX A TRACK, WHEN I PUT ANOTHER BEAT OVER THE ORIGINAL TRACK..THANKS |

The settings depend on the mix of instruments and vocals and what ranges of notes they comprise. The only person who can come up with those exact settings is the one working on the mix, and that person is you. If the instruments and vocals overlap frequency ranges then it may be impossible to achieve what you want. Have you tried Graphic EQ? I find that one to be the easiest one to work with. |

first of all, it would help if your capslock wasn't stuck...CAUSE IT'S LIKE YOU'RE YELLING!!! secondly, chien is right. this is something that is dependent on the audio and has to be done by ear. the normal track eq in acid works fine for this, just line up your tracks and move the frequency of the low shelf until it sounds right. you can also boost the frequency where the vocals are present the most. thirdly, if you getting "redlines" or clipping perhaps you should study up on some basic mixing concepts like compression/limiting before you try to remix something. it's not called re-"mixing" for nothin'... you gotta know at least the basics. |
