Subject:Minimized window problem

I went to save a project, and it told me the database needed to be refreshed, so I hit 'Yes'; The project now has over half of the view area blank...like gigantic, expanded tracks, but nothing there. The actual wav files are there, but not all together/in a row.
What on Earth happened?!?
