Subject:v5 is a hog

On more than one project, ACID pro 5 is slowing to a stutter at the very end of my project.

1. My system is probably 3 times that required to run this software.
2. I have shut down every app except ACID
3. There is virtually nothing going on in my project at that point but a drum loop!
4. My processor is only running at 68%.

This is annoying.

err...specs? what drivers are you using? at what settings?

if you give exact info on your problem and setup there are folks here that will help...unless you just want to vent your frustration.

it could be your driver settings or a denormal.

i just started doing everything in 24-bit and only using asio drivers. my cpu usage has gone through the roof but i can still manage over 30 tracks and 2 or 3 vsti using AP 5...on a 1.8ghz P4 no less.

Can you do a signature on this forum? It would be helpful so we could list our specs there.

Driver: ASIO Echo WDM.
Settings: All defaults
