Subject:One Minute Intervals Split of a Long Audio File

I tried and searched but didn't find what I wanted. I need to split an hour-long ASF into exactly 1-minute intervals without the typical 3 sec wait in between intervals. Does anyone know whether it's doable with SF or anything else is better out there for this job? Thanks in advance. |

Special->Edit Tempo: - set "Tempo in beats per minute" to 1.000 Tools->Auto-Region - check "Build regions using current tempo" - set "Measures" to 0 - set "Beats" to 1 Now you'll have equally spaced one-minute regions. If you want to split them into separate files, use Tools->Extract Regions. If by "typical 3 sec wait between intervals", you are implying that you want to burn them to a CD without gaps, you'll need a tool that supports Disc-At-Once (DAO) burning. Sound Forge only supports Track-At-Once (TAO) burning, which will always insert two seconds between tracks. There are several previous posts discussing how to get regions out to a DAO burning application (CD Architect, Nero, EasyCD, etc.). J. |
