Just got Sound Forge, I was wondering how I can make my mp3's not have lyrics. I'm pretty sure this is possible, just wondering how. Thanks a bunch! Also, if I have a mic plugged into the line in, can I record myself singing to the instrumental mp3's? Matt |

1) There is no good way to do this. You might as well consider it impossible. 2) Yes, but not directly. You would have to play the MP3 file in Media Player or WinAmp or something like that. Sound Forge cannot record and play simultaneously. |

Thanks a lot man.. I remember I had some mixer though that was capable of doing it pretty well, it was quite nice. Any suggestions, or software that can get it close to no words? |

Try ANALOGX.com, they have several audio/midi plugins, including a vocal remover. It's not perfect but it's free and works relatively well. |
