Subject:Midi Preferences wont stay locked

I have a midi man 4 by 4 and my prefs wont stay locked. I never had a problem with Acid Pro 4.0 and now that i bought 5.o Pro it doesnt work????? Plesae help. All my other programs reconize my midi 4 by 4??????
