I posted this request on the JetDV website but the forum keeps going up and down.
I have several videos to edit where I did a two-camera shoot with lousy wireless mics (I've since bought nice ones) and the audio tracks have their fair share of pops and dropouts. Right now, when something nasty happens on the top audio track, I manually duck the audio down during that spot and do the exact opposite on the other audio track to cover up the problem spot.
Randall Campbell of Peachrock sent me a script he had done previously that will automatically drop the audio over a selected area but I can't figure out how to do something as simple as selecting the next audio track!
Here is the pseudocode for what I am trying accomplish:
Select top track;
Within selected range, add four envelope points and "duck" the audio within those points;
Select next audio track (vertically, within the same time space, not horizontally or the next event);
Within selected range, add four envelope points and raise the audio within those points.
Any help would be most appreciated. For reference, here is the script from Randall Campbell: Mute Part of a Clip
