I just purchased HALion3 which presents itself as a VST Instrument. Problem is that when I add the Steinberg VSTplugins directory to ACID and it rescans, it crashes. It is definately the HALion as this is the first Steinberg software I own. HALion works fine with Sonar, Cubase and other VST host applications - whats up with ACID? Thanks Bryan |

Okay, so I figured out what is going on. SADDLY, ACID is too STUPID to know the difference between a VST DLL and a non VST DLL. When ACID scans the HALion directory all the other non VST files apparently cause it to crash. When I copy the HALion VST DLL and skin to my default VST location, it loads fine. Bad ACID developers! Bad! Bryan |
