I'm currently using SF6 with NR2 in my audio restoration business and have no problems at all. Can anyone come up with a good reason why I might want to upgrade? My SF6 was bought when it was owned by Sonic Foundry, has Sony added anything that might be desirable? Have they improved anything of importance? thanks, ken |

If there's no additional features you require but what you have, and they all work the way they're supposed to, then why would you need to upgrade? Especially since the unspoken rule so far at Sony has been to let ANY previous version upgrade to the lates for the same price. I wish I was in your shoes... DSG |

You will ebenfit from the 6 -> 8 upgrade but there's no reason to go to 7 first. 6 is fine -- I edited a four hour audio book with it last summer. |
