OK, I suppose this question may have been asked before, but I have been unable to find any info on it. When I record multiple tracks, and I decide I want to cheat and record each different part individually, is there a way for me to somehow click and drag all of the different takes into one long take? I know this is possible with other recording programs (such as Krystal Audio Engine) and it would be great because it would eliminate a lot of the confusion of having tons and tons of takes to keep track of. I don't mean layering two parts OVER each other, just taking one take and pasting it onto the end of another. Any help? Thanks in advance. -Breach |

No. This is not how ACID works. You can only have one wave file assigned to a track. This allows you to paint the parts at different times in the song. (otherwise it wouldn’t know what part to paint) What you could do is solo all the tracks that make up one continuous take and then render that to a new track. Then mute (or delete) the original tracks. In ACID Pro 5.0, you could add a Folder track and place all those takes in a folder and then collapse the folder so it only takes up one tracks height. Folder tracks are great for this. ~jr |
