I just spent ten minutes recording vocals. Acid wasn't saving the tracks. Eventually I noticed that I had unchecked the sound monitor box on the record dialogue box. If that is not checked the recording is not saved on my system. Will someone please confirm this. If this is a common case then I think it's a bug. Thanks, Chris (Hunt) |

Confirmed here. I would classify that one as a bug. I never turn off the monitor so I never noticed it before. It just creates an empty wave file and puts nothing on the timeline. ~jr |

"BTW I don't know why they put such an option." I was thinking the same thing, but if I remember correctly it was due to the chance of getting recording glitches during a record, where the meter would take too much resources on your PC and cause a hiccup in the audio record. That was when Acid was able to run on a 100Mhz PC. So it's probably still there for the same reason multitrack recording isn't. |

"So it's probably still there for the same reason multitrack recording isn't" ... which reason ? Huge devellopement lack on input recording function in Acid ? |
