Subject:Stylus RMX...help! Posted by: magnum Date:2/2/2005 7:59:10 PM Newbie at this...Using Acid 5.0. Just got Stylus RMX. Love the program but can't get Acid to play back midi using drag and drop in piano role editor or the track for that matter. Data shows on the screen. Stylus plays fine on it's own but how can I use Groove Elements in Acid. It will trigger single notes off the controller for individual drums, just not any of the groove elements. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Something else odd, if I press play on Acid it won't start Stylus but if I press play on Stylus (although it won't start Acid) the stop button in Acid will stop Stylus..

When you pull up the midi edit page, does the midi sequence show up/? Also..have you tried using a midi file other than one from RMX, and a Kit from the RMX..set the kit to Channel 10, and try to play it like that? Glenn and even the big cheese Persig often hang out on the list and answer questions directly..though I have to say, you and I would be about the only ones using Acid and RMX..everyone else is on PT or Logic. Which is a crime, because these 2 work really well together..so much so that you'll be wondering about when was the last time you used a wav drum loop.
