Please, please please. I would love you use my Guitar Rig plugin or monitor realtime effects when recording. This is a must for us 100%, no mixer, vitrual musicians. Thank you. Rich |

This is why I go the hardware route, which takes a load off the CPU anyway and I don't have to rely on anyone to add such a feature to their software. Maybe sooner or later ACID will get input monitoring. If there's something you want to see, definitely buzz SPD and let them know. Hey there SDL Are you using Acid Pro 4 or 5? I've got Acid 4 and can't get it to recognise Guitar Rig in any way (not even as a post-effect). Agree 100% with your request though. MD - you mention using hardware to solve the problem - I'm a bit of a novice with mixers etc - can you give me a simple guide to how I'd rig up a mixer to my Soundcard (Audigy Platinum) to solve this problem? Sorry to be a dim-boy. Cheers LD |

Hi LD, Is this the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum? What is it you're trying to record? You might not need a mixer depending on the situation. For example, my guitar effects processor's S/PDIF out is connected to my Echo MiaMIDI's S/PDIF in, which then sends the input to all outputs (if I desire). Let me know what kind of I/Os you have in your setup. Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid Buy Instant ACID by JohnnyRoy and Me! Now! mD at ACIDplanet |
