Subject:Isolation problems

i am a new user of acid music studio 5 and i am making a remix between 2 mp3 songs, the question is how can i isolate the voice for the rest of the song or viceseversa I was trying to use EQ but I couldn't it didn't work, Is there any way that you can help me?

This is very difficult to do because the human voice is at the same frequency of so many other instruments like guitar, piano, etc. The only real way to do this is to try to find an acapella version of the song (i.e., just vocals). Trying to taking one instrument out of a mix is like baking a cake and then later trying to get the eggs back out. Once it’s mixed, it’s mixed.
