So I've been fooling around with ACID for a bit, but would now like to integrate some midi seuencing/vsti hosting via Tracktion. Can these two work together successfully, and if so, what do I need to do? Is ACID 4.0 have good enough capabilities in this regard that I may not need to use Tracktion? Any other suggestions/options? Thanks, STRATEGY |

You want to use ACID Pro 5.0 as a ReWire device in Tracktion. In your Tracktion project: 1. Add a New Filter... and select Rewire Device as the type 2. In the Rewire filter properties at the bottom center of the Tracktion display, select choose device > and pick ACID Pro 5.0 from the list. 3. Press the Launch Editor... button to start ACID 4. Load your song into ACID 5. Switch back to Tracktion and press the Play button Tracktion and ACID should now play in synchronization. Add MIDI tracks to Tracktion and you're all set. Tracktion and ACID are an awesome combination. ~jr |

Thanks for the response, but I don't have ACID 5.0, I have 4.0 |

Sorry, I didn’t see that you said you were using ACID 4. I don’t know if you can sync ACID and Traction via MIDI. You could always render your ACID project as a wave and bring it into Tracktion but that’s a pain when you want to modify it. ReWire is definitely the way to go. ~jr |
