Subject:simple recording question-HELP ME

I am familar with acid music and just purchased acid pro 5. How do I record vocals or guitar tracks to a BPM without re-recording the background loop? It has to be simple-but I can't figure this out.

FAQ #640: I'm hearing part of my audio project bleed into my vocal track. How can I fix this?

...and BTW, the answer is not obvious so don’t feel bad. It just gets asked a lot. ;-)

jr, thanks for the reply. I checked out faq#640, and it seems that this page has been removed. I'm not sure if I'm looking in the right spot.

Sorry about that. The link should work now. I create all my posts in MS Word and then paste them into the web page but the web doesn’t like Word’s quotes (“”) and that messes up URL’s. I usually convert them to ("") but I forgot on that one.

BTW DKeenum, you only need:
