I wonder if anyone can reproduce this (bug?). Bring a loop into the track view and then bring up the chopper. Set it to loop an play in the chopper.. While it is playing delete the loop from the track view. It carries on playing in the chopper.. There's nothing on screen to stop it playing. At first I thought I could only stop it by previewing another track in the media manager but I discover that using the space bar also stops it. I think when the track is removed from the track view that it should automatically stop playing in the chopper since it is removed from there as well. Chris Edited: forgot to say I really like the feature in chopper to highlight part of it and then open up the loop in soundforge and see the same section highlighted. Never noticed that before, very nice! |

Just wondering whether anyone else can confirm this bug with chopper? Thanks, Chris |

I would think that it keeps playing because the focus is now on the Chopper, not the Timeline. Since you haven't stopped it there... I'm not getting the "unable to stop playback in the Chopper" problem you're describing. Sure, it keeps playing when the loop is removed from the timeline, but I can stop it simply but hitting the stop button in the Chopper window. Mario EDIT: Actually, I can not only stop the playback, but I can continue editing anyway that I please. Like I said, I think this is voluntary, because the focus is now on The Chopper. |

Now I get what you're saying!! You meant that you delete the entire track, not just the loop on the timeline. OK. I do get the same result as you. No Chopper showing anymore, but playback continues. I hit the Spacebar, and got this error...
