Subject:acid 5.0 video

I want to get sound off some video files and i import the video into acid but i get no sound from it. Anyone have any idea why? thanks, eric |

Where do the video files come from and what format are they in? Perhaps it’s a format that ACID doesn’t support. ~jr |

Odd. If there's audio, it should be imported along with the video. Per JohnnyRoy's request, what format is the video? If you have Sound Forge, does this same video open up with its associated audio? yeah theres audio with the video files which are mpeg files and when i play them in windows media they have sound. I'm really new to the program so maybes i'm not importing right? |

This could likely be a missing codec, or rather a codec that is available to WMP, but not to us. Can you find out which codec is being used on the audio? HTH, Joel |
