I don't know if this is related to the ASIO drivers, but I've noticed that often ACID v5 just sits there silent when it should be making noise. I click the play button, VU meters are grooving along, and NO SOUND. Seem to have verified that it's not the typical stupid things that can cause this..(i.e., muting your machine's sound, volume control, etc.). If I close ACID and reopen it, it plays as it should.

What audio hardware and driver version are you using?
