On my Acid Pro 4.0, after connecting my midi keyboard to my pc, I noticed that the timing of my dls sound synth seems off. With the local on function set on my midi keyboard, I compared the timing of my keyboard notes with the timing of my dls sound synth notes, and both seemed off. As a matter of fact, the timing seems to be like a sec off. I would like to know is there a way that I can adjust the timing of my dls sound synth notes. Man, I think I just solved my probleming from reading something from the forum about delayed midi sound from JohnnyRoy's posting. It suggested that the playback buffering should be adjusted and I adjusted. It seems like the timing is ok. If I have anymore problems after this adjustment, I'll let you guys know. I’m glad you were able to figure this one out. If your soundcard doesn’t have ASIO drivers, you might want to try ASIO4ALL. I used it on my laptop that only has a motherboard sound chip and it got rid of the MIDI latency. ~jr |
