Subject:Sound Forge 8.0 New Feature Suggestion

I am a new user on this site, but I am using Sound Forge from last couple of years. First suggestion is to introduce new Solution or Composer that converts MP3 or WAVE file(s) into Mobile Polyphonic Ring Tones. E.g. Sound file (polyphonic ring tone) use in Samsung mobile having extension (.MMF)
If any one knows about any software which converts MP3 file into to MMF file, I shall be very thankful to him.

I hope they put this one at the top of the feature request list. I don't think I could live another week with this cell phone that just "rings". I mean, I think everyone standing within 10 feet of me, should be blessed with my choice ring tone of Terror Squad's "Lean Back". I could further use the SF wave Hammer, so everybody be bumping, whenever I get a call. Damn, I might not even answer the phone then, because the room would start jumping, and everybody standing near me would have their hands in the air singing, "Lean Back!!...Lean Back!!...Lean Back...Lean Back...Come On!!".

LOL, I'd be a strong proponent of supporting this if the only Save As choice for this or any other ring tone format was SILENCE!

That is a really cool idea!!!! I've been wondering how I can edit/upload my own wave files to my nextel phone. Got my vote!!!

Question; If cell phones had a small wireless device that fit behind you ear so only you could hear your phone ring, would people still be interested in this feature? Or is this just an audio version of wearing clothes that have prominently displayed labels so everyone knows how cool one is?

Having the option to "pimp-out" my cellphone ring to me is at the bottom of my list of enhancements...but if there was some sparetime... ;)

This to me would boost sales of soundforge studio. "Create/upload your own custom ringtone to your phone of choice". ie:nextell,etc...

I think it would boost the number of pirated copies of SF instead of legit ones...
