I am running Acid Pro 4.0 and thinking about upgrading my soundcard to a multi-input soundcard, so I can record more than one input simultaneously. Right now I am running my standard Dell pc’s soundcard. Does acid pro 4.0 support multi-input soundcards? And do you recommend any CHEAP multi-input soundcards (4-8 In) Thanks a lot |

No. ACID will not record more than one stereo input at a time regardless of the hardware you have. > And do you recommend any CHEAP multi-input soundcards (4-8 In) I don’t recommend buying CHEAP. You will only be back here asking how to get crackles, pops, and crosstalk out of your recordings. Get anything from M-Audio or Echo. The M-Audio Delta44, Delta66 & Delta1010 are 4, 6, & 10 inputs/outputs respectively. Buy whichever one you can afford. If you don’t need a breakout box (which is really nice once you get use to having one) the Audiophile 2496 is 4-in/4-out and only $99 street price (and that is cheap for what you get). ~jr |
