When I open AP5 I get this RUNDLL error "Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\Sony\ACID The specified module could not be found." Then I click OK and AP5 starts but there are no DirectX effects in the Plug-In Chooser. When I open an old AP4 project with DirectX effects on tracks - they load okay. But there are still no DirectX effects in the Plug-In Chooser. I tried reinstalling (both AP5 and plugins), I have the latest DirectX. Help! |

Have you tried going to Sony support directly, with your problem? I've never had a problem with my Dx effects just disappearing, with A4 or A5, BTW. It sounds like something, perculiar to your situation, that you need to be really talking to the support techs about. |

You know, what folder(s) to look in? Jack |

No, I didn't. Should I do it? And how do I do it? In previous versions of Acid the DirectX effects were automatically detected by the program. And AFAIK each DirectX effect is just being installed into a separate folder. Am I wrong? |
