Basically what it sounds like is that you would like to add FX's to your voice. With Sound Forge, it can not do this by talking into a microphone and having that signal routed thru the software and then thru an FX. What you have to do is first record your voice into sound Forge. Then apply an FX. Try some Pitch shift, distortion, vibrato, and flanger. All these FX's will change your voice so that it is unrecognizable. That way you can then play this back while you're on a phone conversation and the girl on the other end that you're stalking will never be able to tell it's you......beware of caller ID though, that one will always get ya. :-) |

YOur simple solution: Buy a Creative Labs AUDIGY sound card (pLatinum, maybe?) It has a real time voice/audio distortion feature. I don't know why you want to do this -- would be easier to speak with a falsetto and feign a Russian accent -- all you have to remember is there is no "W" in Russian and add a "ya" to most vowels, e.g. Russian "HET" is pronounced "nyet" and maybe through in some Bulgarian too, such as , "az nay gavorray Angliski" ( I don't spikka da English". Oh, and don't forget to "trill" your Rs. Peter (Piotr) |
