in acid 2.0 on my computer, when i go to record a new track, I am able to set a new destination for where my recordings will be written to. That save destination is remembered no matter how many times i open and close acid. But, in my Acid 4.0, every time i start a new project my save destination gets reset to a default setting. I have a seperate disk drive that i like to have all my Acid files written to, so it's quite annoying to have to remember to change the recording destination everytime i want to record something. Is this common In the newer versions of Acid, or is this some fluke only on my computer? how can I fix this? i would really apprecaite your advice... |

> how can I fix this? Upgrade to ACID Pro 5.0. It has a new destination folders feature where you can control the permanent location of: Record: Render to new: Chop to New: New MIDI: Extract from CD: Render project: It also has the ability to say “Place everything in my project folder” (which is the option I use). Then I know every project has all its files in one folder ready for backup. ~jr |
