Subject:Problem with Deluxe 2.0 Posted by: kstar8706 Date:1/7/2005 9:43:28 PM Hey, I'm having a problem with ACID Deluxe 2.0 concerning imported MIDI files and I was wondering if you could help me out. Whenever I import a MIDI file into an ACID project, it seems that it will end up dropping certain notes throughout the whole project. I've tried adjusting the tempo but it doesn't make any difference. I've also tried to defragment my hard drive to make the computer run faster but it doesn't seem to help either. I've even tried dividing the MIDI file into different files for separate tracks, and it doesn't help either. No matter what I do, a certain note or notes will be dropped out of the playback throughout the project. Does anyone know what causes this or have any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? -Kris

When you play the part in the MIDI Piano Roll Editor are the velocities up for these notes? Have you tried sending it to a different MIDI instrument? If you send me the MIDI file, I will see how it plays on my PC. Just send it to johnnyroy - at - rcn dot com and I’ll take a look at it. ~jr

Kris, That’s really strange. Are they the same notes every time? When you play the part in the MIDI Piano Roll Editor are the velocities up for these notes?
