Drag and Drop with Media Manager -ACID Product Family

With the "Save media-usage relationship in active media library" option checked (general preferences) a loop is added to a library when it is dragged and dropped from outside acid. This doesn't happen if the lop is cut and from the tracklist and then repasted which is a pity. If this were the case one could create an extra "used loops" database and upon completion of the project open it up and then cut and paste the loops to get the files into the database. I did wonder about saving all hte media to a seperate directory with the Acid File and then dragging and dropping these loops via Windows Explorer but then of course these are really copies of the loops rather than the original loops. I hope Sony find a way to add a "used" tag in a future version of Acid. I think it would be useful. Chris
