Is there anyway to totally not install it, or stop it from booting up each time? please!!!!! It totally messes up my computer, and I really don't like it. |

Uncheck Options > Preferences > Enable Media Manager (requires ACID restart) and the SQL Engine will stop loading when ACID starts. I would imagine you can uninstall it at that point but I’m not sure since I use it. ~jr |

Thank you JohnnyRoy for your help. I think I would be more likely to use the SQL Engine if my loops were nicely arranged on my hard drive, and it almost gives me motivation to organize them, but... nah. |

Actually, the only way to be sure the sql stuff doesn't load is to go to services.msc (I'm assuming you're using XP) and disbale the sql stuff from there. There's like 3 or so services to disable. Reboot and you should be good to go. Jack |
