MIDI Notes dropped on Screenblast ACID Deluxe 2.0 -ACID Product Family

Whenever I import a MIDI file into an ACID project, it seems that it will end up dropping certain notes throughout the whole project. I've tried adjusting the tempo but it doesn't make any difference. I've also tried to defragment my hard drive to make the computer run faster but it doesn't seem to help either. I've even tried dividing the MIDI file into different files for separate tracks, and it doesn't help either. No matter what I do, a certain note or notes will be dropped out of the playback throughout the project. Does anyone know what causes this or have any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? -Kris
