Use the Beatmapper to beatmap the song to a constant tempo. Then add loops to change the mix. You may have to use EQ to filter out bass or other parts if you want to make dramatic changes in those parts.

The Beatmapper is a component of ACID Pro that will automatically get invoked when you add a track with a wave file that is longer than 30 seconds (i.e., an entire song). It is a wizard that will step you through the process of: Step 1 selecting the downbeat, Step 2 selecting a measure length, and Step 3 confirming the measure accuracy across the song.

Go into the on-line help and on the Index tab type in Beatmapper and select the section Using the Beatmapper Wizard. It will guide you through the process. There is a whole chapter dedicated to this in the new Instant ACID book but that is, unfortunately, not out yet and won’t help you right now. :( If you do a search on beatmapper in this forums you will also get some explanations of how to use it.

Try dragging a song into ACID Pro and following the Beatmapper Wizard. It’s pretty easy once you know what to do.
